Formed in 1999, HASPA represents 23 airline service providers at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), who between them employ over 24,000 employees – roughly a third of the whole labour force at HKIA.
Our member companies have a huge responsibility in the smooth running of the airport and play a key role in its success.
The objectives of our association are:
To provide an organisation for the interchange of information and ideas between airline service providers at HKIA
To provide a regular forum and means to discuss and implement measures to work towards our mutual goals
To provide support for members, both individually and collectively, in their dealings with various regulatory bodies
To work closely with the Airport Authority and government regulatory bodies for the overall growth and benefit of Hong Kong International Airport
Our current campaigns
Ensure there is sufficient labour to serve increasing demand at the airport
Improve the welfare of staff working at the airport, including an improved transport network to assist travelling to and from HKIA and staff canteen facilities
Seek support for the introduction of low-emission equipment
We work closely with our members and the Hong Kong Airport Authority (HKAA) to achieve our goals.
